Benazir Scholarship 2023

Benazir

Benazir. Overcoming poverty can be achieved through advancing one’s education beyond intermediate level. Nevertheless, the availability of higher education is distributed unevenly across different socioeconomic groups. For instance, only 0.4% of children from the lowest income quintile have access to higher education institutions, which stands far below the national average of 10%. To bridge this gap and ensure equal opportunities for all, undergraduate scholarships aim to eliminate this form of unequal access.

As per the findings presented in the National Human Development Report 2017, Pakistan emerges as one among the world’s youngest countries. Acknowledging this fact about its populace, which comprises around 220 million individuals and where more than half fall within the university-age group, the Government of Pakistan has placed great importance on developing programs that aim to provide financial assistance and promote gender equity. The primary objective is to create avenues for a substantial segment of young people to gain access to higher education while striving for equal educational opportunities across all levels.
