Eligibility Criteria for Colombia Government Scholarships

In order to be eligible for the Colombia Government Scholarships, applicants must meet all of the specified criteria listed below:

  • Eligible Countries: All world countries
    Be a non-Colombian citizen. Do not possess Colombian nationality. Foreign professionals without dual Colombian citizenship and not currently living in Colombia.
  • Not be over 50 years old.
  • Have a professional or bachelor’s degree.
  • To be eligible for the call, you must have a grade point average of at least 4.0 out of 5.0 or its equivalent on the Colombian scale.
  • Be eligible for enrollment in a graduate program listed in the General Call 2024 Catalog of Academic Offerings.
  • The ICETEX offices in Bogot require that the documents be submitted in hard copy. The address is Carrera 3 No 18-32.
  • The applicant has the option to provide a maximum of 3 letters of acceptance.
  • No original documents are required.
